I've been toying with the idea of speed for this months challenge and got completley side tracked by exposure 'speed'. I took this photo on an evening walk through a graveyard and had a thought about a great spooky subject for the monthly challenge; TIME EXPOSURES. I used to do this with film and have just started playing with it in the digital world.(Okay, so I don't read my manual too often, I'm a guy!) The attached picture was taken with a Canon G2 set at ISO 50, f2 for 10 seconds at h22:14 - 45 minutes after sunset. I had the people run out of the field of focus after 5 seconds. The only light was a very distant street lamp. I had to use a flashlight to help arrange the photo because of the darkness.

SWEET idea! I totally dig that idea!

Wonderful..you did this by "having people run out" figuring that running would not be visibly exposed. Very neat idea. I do like the results...most would think this a software manipulated image. Why do you suppose the ones on the "tombstone" stand out more clearly..perhaps the background? Blessings and Peace. TomDart.

I have added this to the list of choices for the October Challenge.

I am, therefore I create.......
