I have intention to make a gunship in .obj format for any program that supports it. I've started with the antipersonnel gatling turret - I'll like very much comments and suggestions (keep in mind that is a futuristic one, so fidelity to an actual weapons system is not required, only believability). Thanks!!! :)

Nice looking weapons. Ever thought about mounting them on a tank or a robot. I have seen weapons almost like them mounted on robots on a game which i play, its on the net and is a web based game, if i can i'll get a pic of a robot off it and show you what i mean.

I am unable to show you an image of the robots or tanks in this game due to copy rights on them :( sorry for that, would have been nice to give you some ideas.

Thank you... btw, were you talking 'bout Mech Commander? Or Mechwarrior? I'm a fan of the games since number two...

Very nice modelling! Be interested to see the finished piece.

Excellent modeling Blaufeld, the weapons look awesome. Would also like to see the finished product.

I'm trying to learn Amapi... it's not easy, and the pdf manual it's TERRIBLE, and just I can't take the hang on many things, but as my first models perhaps this old dog has some possibilities of learning :)

Nice work Blaufeld. I would only make the following couple of comments, for added realism.

If the area marked 1 is the bullet feed belt (this was my feeling of what it should be) then the inner diameter of the barrels (marked 2) should be pretty close in size to the size of ammo that will fit through the belt, at the moment it looks quite a bit bigger (may just be camera angle though).

Most gatling guns have more barrels as plain and simply it's easier to balance the rotation and also gives a higher fire rate for the same rotational speed.

@ Gog CA1: Yes, I was thinking of changing the bullets design and dimensions altogether - for what concerns the gatling, the Cobra attack helicopter mounts a 3-barrelled one :)
