Subject: sharpening up a blurry image

I have a problem. I have a blurry picture that I took on a trip. I have Photoshop 7 but I don't use it very much. Is there a way that I can sharpen the image and make it more defined and less blurry in Photoshop? I don't expect it to be perfect but I would like to make it better. I did try the sharpen option under the filters tab but that didn't really help much. Can anyone give me some advice?

The 'unsharpen mask' does, when you look at the name unexpectedly, actually a good job in sharpening (it cannot invent information that isn't there ofcourse) and you have some sliders to fiddle with. It's not magic, so there are limits to what it can do. Good luck!
