Let me know what you think. Any tips or improvements would be appreciated. I've only had Bryce a couple of months, most of the time I have the manual in one hand, the mouse in the other!! Then I saw the Tolkien picture and almost chickened out!

There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.

Looks nice! Maybe some tree's and footprints or a snowman. Looks kinda lonely sitting there all by itself.

Ooh, like the attention ti detail. Did you model that in Bryce? I like the little things like the snow piled up in some places. Though I agree with spanfarkle, does need a little something else to finish it off. Great job Aezure

I agree it needs more work, I was so concerned about getting the snow the way I wanted it. The house is the zygote free house, I brought it into Bryce and added all the textures. The accumulated snow is lattices, I had to really play with those to get them to look right. Then added a sphere around the whole scene and added snow material to the sphere, turned off anti-aliasing for the sphere snow because it was too blurry and washed out with it on. It's a start. Thanks for your comments!!

You may consider tightening the composition by croping off some of the sides a bit. I know that it's painfull to discard something, but, sometimes, less is more.-FK.

some iron fencing up close in the foreground might do... it's a nice image and nice texturing job -dave

I'd try it from a slightly different angle so as to make it look a little less 2 dimensional. By showing a bit of the side of the house you can really bring the picture to life. And I agree that you need something else in the image to liven it up abit more. DOn't get me wrong, I love what you've done so far. Locke

Thanks!! You're right. I had added a tree and an iron fence which really made it look better. I had also cropped it a bit too. But, a different angle will definitely bring it to life. Thanks for the help. It is much appreciated!! I will re-post when it has been tweaked on so more.

too much blue sky for a blizzard... needs all grey or darker sky. If scene becomes to dark add a yard light or a light by the gate.

Your scene is absolutely great except for what softsnow mentioned - you need a darker sky for a blizzard. Great job! Jade
