I have been working on three images to enter into an art exhibition sponsered by the Canada Aviation Museum. The theme of the images is "Northern Wings" and I have concluded that the most prominent Northern Wings were those on the DeHavilland Beaver. I have made drawings with the Beaver on floats, skis, and wheels. I would appreciate any criticism that you may have to my work. Thank you. Bob

Images 2&3 are great. Just a couple of things, these planes were real workhorses so perhaps you could "Dirty" them up a little. Maybe some snow on the hills in the distance in the last image. Excellent work. Cheers GG.

WHO said Kiwi's can't Fly ?????

Nice job. Now I want to fire up Flight Sim 2002. ;)

Now make one with dirt, dents, dings, oil streaks all over the cowling, mud on the wheel struts, insect guts on the front surfaces, and oversize tires/wheels. (A "real" bush pilot's plane. A workhorse beater that's been neglected on some maintenance because it's being used all the time.) Or is that kind of realism a bit much to ask for?

Now don't go to extreams, but like I remember hearing people comment when Star wars first came out that the X-Wings, were dirty, dented, and SHOWED heavy use. Put some dirt on that SNOW white plane.

Hey dude I love your beaver! Now there's a phrase you won't hear often. LOL The second one is the best in my opinion. Another good pic would be to show from the ground point of view some members of an isolated village watching the Beaver land with their necessities.
