Just started processing my photos from the Cirque de Flambe's performances a while ago. Came upon this image. This was a performer moving/dancing (from camera left to right) while carrying a flamming torch (or something like a torch). This was taken with a shutter speed of 1sec.

I know the human mind loves to find patterns and stuff in chaos, but I can't help but see and be amazedb by the Angel that I see formed in the flames. Do you guys see it or is it just me?

Interesting how we create things in our minds based on our life experiences. If you did not say that you saw an angel, I might be more inclined to say it looks like a pixie or a fairy. I believe in Angels before I believe in fairies. Not knowing the size relative to something known I would not guess it an angel, but then again...what size are angels? Isn't imagination fun!!

I must have been taken by the Dark Side - I see a mighty Fire Lord (lets face it, no fairy should have a pointy nose like that!), his fiery cape billowing out, his eyes ablaze lighting the bottom of his hat, arm outstreched to smote any who try to hold him and the arm above waving a lasso of deadly fire! damn, where's my shrinks' number?
