Hey everybody

I,m facing an very big problem when I try to aply some ligth files.
When I apply some light to a scene ( dosent matter if its a big scene or just a figur ),Poser will start to look for the texture and tahts it....it just freeze and the only selution is to shot down Poser and re-start it again.
First I thought it just need some time and I give it some time to search..... nothing happend even after 15 min !!
Poser will hang on that " searching for texture " and nothing else is possible.
Today I tested 2 new freebie lihts ,called : Akaro Lights and Akaro Lights 02. Akaro Lights worked , but when I try the other file....bum...Poser starts to freeze.
This problem happend with a lot of light files.........
Does anybody have an idea whats the problem behind this ?

Greetings Undina

If poser starts for looking to a texture, when you apply a lightset (.lt2), it is possible, that the lightset is a MAT-File! Some people don't use the posefiles (.pz2) for MATs, but the lightfiles instead. I don't know the Akarolights, so it's only one possibility. Usually, applying of light don't touch textures. Hope, it helps.

Sometimes MAT files are implemented as light or camera files. I'm not sure, but CorrectReference (search for it in freestuff) might be able to fix the references to the textures.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
