Mover 5 Compatible
Vue 5 Esprit is compatible with Mover 5. If you already aquired a license of Mover 4 or Mover 5 for Vue d'Esprit 4 or Vue 4 Professional, you can use that license within Vue 5.
Mover 5 lets you import fully animated Poser characters complete with dynamic hair and clothes, distribute your animation render across a network of up to 5 workstations and use advanced animation effects.

I read this before already ! Vue 5 Esprit is compatible with Mover 5. ok, fine, that doesn't answer my question ! I want to know if you get both programms when I buy Vue5. I have no seperate license for Mover. My Mover came in the same box with me Vue. (3.1) If I buy Vue5 do I need to buy a seperate license for Mover5 this time ?
You need a valid Mover4 license for update. Serial number starts with MOV4-****....

The basic animation system in Vue is called mover. As far as I can tell this is still included in Vue 5. Mover 4 and Mover 5 are enhancements to the basic animation system and can be bought separately. They allow you to import poser animations and add some other extra animation features. Hope that clears up your confusion. I always thought they should have given the enhancement packages a different name so people wouldn't get confused.

Impish I still haven't tried mover with Vue 5. I have already installed Vue 4 and Vue Pro. This means that I have already installed Mover twice. Do you know if I have to install it a third time in order to make it work with 5? Or can 5 use the rendercows and settings of 4? Also - my mover 5 is a free upgrade included in Pro - is it usable with Esprit also? This is all very confusing.
Actually, it is. Check the add-ons folder on the application CD. There's the Vue5 specific Mover 5 and RenderCow installation files. The catch is that you have to have a valid serial number to install it...and if you originally bought Mover -4- for Vue 4, you have to have the serial number of Vue 4 as well, to validate the install.
You're welcome. Now that I've had some sleep and finished work for the day, I do believe I have a Vue 5 to reinstall (I was right, BTW. I borked it; I didn't clean up after that HDD failure a month ago killed my VueVuePro drive, and a wonderful little set of cross connects between the remnants of Vue 4 and Vue 5 occurred. Be =VERY= sure you clean out every bit of an old install; rendercow, the works. Otherwise, its in the hands of Windows. Nuff said.).
thanks for the info on Mover 5, tried installing mover 4 but then Vue 5 crashed, been playing around with it for an hour or 2 and I like Vue 5 now lets see if I can get Mover to work

I just visited the e-on software website but there is one thing I don't understand. Is Mover5 included in Vue 5 ? In the past I always had a Mover with my Vue but now Mover can be bought seperatly. Why ? Is it for people who want to use Mover5 with Vue 4 ?
