I placed my order yesterday (Sunday) and I got an emails today saying the order has SHIPPED -as of this Monday. The email also says that if you ordered standard it will take "5 days (US/Canada)". If you order goes international it could take "up to three weeks, depending upon the country you live in." I ordered UPS 2nd day (and I live in the US) so I should have this little baby by WEDNESDAY! (I also logged in and checked my order status on the E-On website and it said order status "Shipped".)

Well, that pisses me off! Not that you have gotten yours shipped, but that I pre-ordered 2 weeks ago and mine has yet to ship. This is the last time I ever pre-order from E-On. They have my money, but won't ship the product. I do not understand. Oh well, maybe I'll call and cancel.

Same boat here.. I pre-ordered, and it's still sitting on the first stage of the order status. =(

That really doesn't seem to make sence (why orders which were pre-orders) are still sitting in the first stage of order status. I wonder if something has gone wrong - why don't you call and check first hand on the order status, and explain your disappointment?

Got mine this AM. Promptly installed this, that , and the other thing. Have had it up, and it runs great. However, I somehow managed to bork something; trying to start from the shortcut I put on the desktop causes the redraw to fail. I get this wonderful collage of undestroyed windows. I'm going to bed and sleep on it before I mess with any more software. But the times I had it up.....damn, but that GI is pretty!

If you paid by credit card, you may want to call them and see if they put a hold on the charge. Since E-on is based in France, when I ordered last time my credit card put a hold on it since I don't normally have overseas charges. They called me to verify, but that did delay the shipment by a week.

Same thing happened to me Peggy - though I did get a message from e-on that it has been shipped. I also got a call from my CC company to verify because, as you said, it was an overseas Co.

My order is still pending shipment...grrrr...placed the order when they 1st announced Vue 5....off to do an inquiry.

Something doesn't add up for those that pre-ordered and it has not shipped. I ordered mine on Thursday, last week, and it has shipped, as of today. Of course I ordered via ground. They ship from Oregon and I am located in California, so even Ground only takes 2 days. I would call them to see what the deal is... Regards, Paul

Mine finally shipped today. Hopefully, I can get delivery. The days I took off work to be sure won't be enough time, unless a miracle happens. This could get to be a long dissapointment if the package ends up being returned to e-on because I can't afford to miss another day of work.

Mine shipped today as well...WHOOOHOOO. I can "relax" now LOL. I have all my online purchases shipped to my office. No way could I ever take off to sit & wait on a package.

BTW- I get my UPS and FedEx shipments HELD at their respective offices. You can do this at their airport locations, or have it sent and held at a downtown office (if there is one) near where you live- and then go down and pick it up at your convience. Both FedEx and UPS operate their own stores (FedEX bought Kinkos- UPS has a similiar deal some other copy center.) I live only 20 minutes from a large airport where FedEx and UPS both have their jet cargo warehouses and offices- so I just drive down there and pick up my packages after they call me and tell me its "ready for pickup".

Actually, there is a UPS station 1/2 mile from me, and FedEx is next door to where I work. I may call and see if I can get them to hold it for me. If they can't, they usually just deliver to the condo complex and then I don't have a choice. I'll see what my tracking info says, and take appropriate action. Thanks for the idea! There's hope yet!
