If you have no model making experience at all try Nendo for the PC from http://www.nichimen.com/ They have a free working demo that saves to native format (don't tell anyone, but 3Dexploration can convert Nendo native format to OBJ). http://www.xdsoft.com/explorer/ If you are more experienced I would suggest Rhino3d from www.rhino3d.com they also have a free time limited demo for the PC.Well I've gotta agree with you about Rhino JeffH, but Nendo sucks big time in my opinion. I bought the flakey thing. I'll say this , it has a good interface but overall it was a good idea poorly executed. It starts getting squirlly around 1mb file size(import/export) and periodically just crashes. So if you want to build low polygon count models and don't mind having your modeler lock up on you, Nendo might be what you want.... Sorry about the rant just a little steamed at paying $99 for a program that doesn't work. I would go with Rhino if you can afford it. Its really good and not that hard to learn.
