Is this version even worth messing with?

IMHO Vue3 remains a very nice and powerful program. Ideal for beginners to get familiar with Vue. Immediately rewarding. It is incredibly straightforward with a very smooth learning curve. Also very stable and responsive on actual platforms.

If LE version is not too 'limited', (thing that I ignore..)I believe it is the good way to start with Vue's world before upgrading to versions having more sophisticated options...

my two cents

Its great for the price .. nice to play around with if you are new to Vue .. but its also worth unlocking as you not only get to render larger images but you also get to upgrade the renderer to the full Vue3 version which improves the quality as well .. Have fun

Oh Yes. The basics of Vue remain unchanged and it's still capable of creating great images. Being comfortable with the UI is important when choosing a 3D app. Vue LE gives you the opporunity for a leisurely perusal of the software's capabilities. Just be careful, you might get hooked on it.;-)

Cheers,
Mark

I have Vue 3.1 LE, I upgraded it to the commercial version and I can confirm this is a very interesting product, I made beautiful images with it and I'm a beginner.

Here a question, I see nothing on the site of E-on concerning the possibilty for Vue 3 owner to upgrade to Vue 5.

I would guess there isn't that possiblity, I mean, Vue 4 is 3 to 4 years old already and if you trace it all the way back to Vue 3 that's maybe 6 years of waiting to upgrade. I've never heard of a 3d software that runs upgrades from a version 2 versions old, besides, it's only $50 (United States anyway) difference which isn't that much if you're jumping from Vue 3 all the way up to Vue 5, the massive boost in features available between the two versions more than makes up for it.
