i am new to the whole poser thing i am trying to find someone to explain some things to me, anyone interested?

Go through the forums and read other people's questions. Also, check out the tutorials here and at other sites. That should get you started in the right direction. Hope this helps, Cres

What Crescent said. Plus you can use the search feature here to look for specific subjects. Using the manual wouldn't hurt either. Well, maybe not.

If you get stuck and can't find the answer yourself, just ask here in this forum. Oh, and welcome.

And look for Dr Geep's primers. He has covered almost everything you need to know in friendly bite-sized pieces. Cresent has gathered a lot of them at her site in pdf form. There is also a FAQ at the top of this page (right above the banner) and some stuff in the backroom (we have plans for updating and adding more stuff in there) click on the banner itself to get to the backroom. At the very top, you'll see a link for tutorials... more good stuff. And, specific questions can get answered right here. I recommend putting the topic in the subject line. "Arrggghhhh!!!!" or "help a newbie" might not get as fast or direct a response as "help with adding prop" or "how can I add more lights?" Carolly

Just remember someone has already asked every question you can ask, and most questions are answered on a frequent basis. That's why the Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQ) section is very helpful. You can also take a bit of time to skim through the subject headers here in the forum. You'll find a great education here. If you are ready to ask questions, don't worry about "stupid questions." Many of us have already asked stupid questions here! Use your sense of humor, jump in and talk!
