Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 29 10:50 pm)
Thanks, Jeff, but in the immortal words of Homer SImpson, "Doh!" It was only 15 minutes after I posted by plea that I discovered my error - just use the "+" button to add it. Couldn't see the forest for the trees. Another request for help, though, and I'll probably post this one separately later. I need Poser props for a Beretta 9mm and Dirty Harry's S&W .44 magnum. Freestuff preferred, but I'll also pay for them.

I've created a number of character/prop/pose files (.cr2 .pp2 .pz2) with the associated Wavefront Object (.obj) file. I've placed the .cr2/.pp2/.pz2 file in the ...Libraries that I wanted it in. When I open the category in Poser, the .cr2/.pp2/.pz2 image is the nondescript "shrugging man." Okay. That means there is no resource file (.rsr), yet. Open the file. Fool around with the render materials, maybe even save the file as both a .pz3 or .jpg. An .rsr is created to go with the .obj, but no .rsr is being created with the library file. I still get the "shrugging man" man image in lieu of an image of the actual item. Tried copying the .onj-associated .rsr to the folder with the library file. Even deleted the .rsr without effect. Any ideas?
