Be very careful of the background! Backgrounds are Very Very Important! Try to get a good looking male or female in the shoot :) Hey, I know - but it works! Go to the car websites and study the images or better yet, visit several local car dealerships in your area - and take home all of their brochures. Digest them and spitout something unique and your own. Look at the angles of the cars, the setting, do they show closeups of the interiors?? or just exteriors. Now look at the color combinations on the brochures. Which ones do you like, which ones turn you off. What colors of the cars turn you on, or off. I am not telling you to duplicate what you see - but instead - Use them as a study guide. Explore every inch, look for the little details! When you see an image that yells at you - Look closely and find out WHY! :) Dee-Marie

Hey everyone! I go to school for graphic design and one of my final projects is to layout a brochuere for a car (one that you would pick up at a dealership). So i was going to take all the photographs of the car with my nikon digital camera. I was wondering if there were any web sites that that you all know of where i could get some tips on automotive photography. I need to get the most proffesional looking photos i can get! I'll be sure to post them here. Thanx, Matt
