Subject: Locking a prop

New to poser and need to lock a large prop which keeps getting accidentally moved. I tried selecting the prop and changing parents to a figure and then locking the figure but could not make it work. Please help.

Make sure your Prop is selected, then go to your "Object" Pull down menu. Then you will see "Lock actor". Click on that and make sure their is a check mark. :-)

Thanks, I thought that I had tried that before but I guess not.
