Subject: Sometimes being a newbie stinks...another question? :(

I got the new Eve figure...and she poses beautifully, and you can use regular texture maps on her so she looks pretty... BUT...I can't for the life of me get any tops to fit her?? I mean her bottom seems to be the right size for all the default clothes, but nothing fits her chest area...could someone suggest how to go about correcting this? Thanks in Advance, and sorry to be such a pest :(

Not sure if there is an easy solution. I tend to use Posette for clothed figures and Eve for the naked ones.

You may want to check if any values that are higher than normal have been entered for her breast size (morphs etc) or her chest dimensions (x/y/z scale) as a start-up default value. Some authors may customize their base nude figures to taste before releasing them and you may be using pre-entered values. To correct the problem, just set the desired dimensions for her breasts/chest, delete the old Eve from the library and add the new Eve with the adjusted dimensions. Nuke PS - I've used all the Eves and haven't had a problem with any Poser clothing so far...

Thanks Nuke...I did what you said, and nothing seems out of the ordinary...all scales are set at 100%, so I have NO idea why I can't get clothes on her...I don't understand what I am doing wrong..so I guess I will have to put her aside until I know more of what I am doing...but I appreciate your help :o)

"...all scales are set at 100%, so I have NO idea why I can't get clothes on her..." First time I've ever heard someone complain about getting clothes onto a gal. Most dudes try so hard to get them out of them... ;-) Man, you've got me stumped. This is a strange problem. Have you tried a complete deletion of the character files and a re-installation or downloaded another copy of the Eve archive file? BTW, what version of Eve? v3.2? Nuke

If all else fails you could make her chest invisible.

I have Eve v3.2 I am beginning to wonder if I did something wrong when I decoded the object file...at this point I am totally confused (Maz? I can't make her chest invisible, as I dress my Posettes in Lingerie, for the pin ups, so they kinda sorta Need a chest...LOL) I really appreciate all the help...I would love to get this figure working so I am not forced to resort to using Vicki..who, no matter what I do to her face, still doesn't have the realness about her that I seem to be able to bring out in the standard poser figure.

What about conforming the clothing? Or did you already try that. Nevermind, of course you did.
