I just wanted to let you know that on the new issue of ComputerArts there is a full version of Amapi 6 for PC AND Mac. So if you don't have a modeller so far, this is an option!

HA! I got that on 3D World a week ago! I finally beat ya, Walther!! ;-) Actually no joking now, I opened Amapi and tried it a but and couldn't understand it at all. It's a bit strange and different from other "conventional" 3D modeling programs. Tried the tutorial too in 3D World that goes with it and I just found it incomprehensible. Still I'm sure there's something to the program because many people use it and create some fun stuff with it.

I always thought Amapi is bit strange. Some people from Amapi community always tell me that it take some time to get familiar with the tools. I am more comfortable with ZBrush for character or velvet modeling. If Amapi is made for Cad. I would buy other cad program with better interferes.
