Another large Sci-Fi/Industrial interior in the works....Modelling and UV's are done & I'm now working on a 'clean' & a dirty textured version,and specific Poser 5 versions too. Thanks for viewing :) Cheers Stefan PS:Textured shots tomorrow

Massive... absolutely massive and most impressive! Just a suggestion... if you want to make the set feel even larger, increase the size of your columns... a 1.00 meter x 1.50 meter column should take the total height of your building way past the 50 storey mark. It might help with the illusion. But, like I said... only a suggestion, my friend. :o) Cheers! M

Phily..Do you mean the Hyperion bar? http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1725632 I'm not involved in that project so have no info, The model posted here is a personal project started a few days ago while I had some time off work :) Moe..good points,I'm looking into it. Ajax,RAMNIMUS,Dave-So ..in this pic you can see the space is some stairs leading down to a small corridor,but!...you have been heard,How about I make an elevator as 'switching geometrie' so we can have the corridor and an elevator I'll look into it tomorrow..er..today Cheers Stefan

While we are throwing out ideas (not that you need anything really_ this set is just perfect) but how about as an add-on an overhead crane gantry (could you make the hydraulic piping move with the head-set?)Perhaps some large pivoting ore cauldrons,...and how about some heavy lifting pulleys....ooo I've come over all industrial...:-) You're an inspiration Stefan!

Whoohoo! I got my eye on this one. hrm...those columbs do look a little thin for reinforced concrete. I thought they were steel-wall. Say...if you are doing modular walls, wall choises, what about a big hanger door opening for one?

hey Kat :) 'Personal project' as in not partnered with anyone else,nor is it a platinum club model or a Daz commission..like Neo said I was supposed to be taking the week off & was initially just mucking around building spare parts for future models,(a librarie of building blocks and pieces I use alot)..one thing led to another and I ended up with 'Level-19' Xena..After experiments on the 'Toonimal lamb' in Z-brush I imagine I'm now on every sheeps hitlist for cruelty to animals :) Moe,Nomuse..I've made the columns slightly larger..very slightly though..I'd already mapped and textured the columns and was being carefull not to cause any texture stretching. Re the 'Lift'..the set will be presented with the stairs & corridor on by default..but using switching geometrie in that part you can swap them for an industrial elevator, I've also made another wall behind the 'hole in the ground' & may be adding a large cargo bay door as an add on prop Noggin..great ideas and I'll certainly keep them in mind for future 'industrial' sets,I like the idea of moving parts in an environment,really brings it all to life. The polycount on this model is just over 30thousand(95% quads with the occassional tri) so I'd be weary of adding any more machinery in the default set. ..& yes..I get a couple hrs sleep every night,but my caffeine intake wont allow any more than that ;) Cheers Stefan

A little late to the thread but here nevertheless. You know, Stoney, your untextured alley and this one remind me of B&W photos. It's been a thrill watching you get better and better at modeling and texturing the past year or so. And I get to buy them! Glad to see someone else thought a larger door might be a good idea. When I first saw it, I was thinking mechs (but it looks a bit "small" for that). Like everything else, I'll find some use for it. Keep 'em coming, Stoney, and as long as I have money, you'll have a sale.

its rendered in P5..FF production..but, yes, its the lights...plus I messed around with the coloring in PSP...to give it a bit of different look. I'm thinking that via layering, this would do for some texturing change..then layer the characters in using normal coloring....need to give a bit of haze... :) I'm liking this a lot...and couple with the other stuff I've got form before..and now wwith the above coming out....woow
