Subject: How are Templates Used?

I want to apply textures using PaintShopPro7. Do the textures simply get painted onto the template?

Yes, you open the templates in photoshop and start painting what you want. Sharen

Also concidder loading another copy of the template as a layer. That way when you paint over the template lines on the base image, the layer can be called up semi transparent so you can still see where the lines go.

I've used Paint Shop Pro, and using the template as a layer is the way to do it. Though it is useful to save test-versions of the art with the template lines showing. Save working copies in the PSP native format, preserving layers. Some components of the texture might be better in different layers. It's the same for Photoshop, of course.
