Thanks, Bill. :) BTW, does it move faster than the velocity of buck shot? LOL! Cheers, Mike

PANdaRUS ( ) posted Thu, 30 November 2000 at 12:46 PM

Well, as an official PAN.WARE distributor, Bill has graciously volunteered to be the FIRST person to race across America on the PAN.WARE scooter! (All while the buckshot is flying behind him...mu-hahahaha!) Ok Bill, make sure you wear your knee pads and helmet...hehehe..it's going to be a REAL adventure! Mu-HAHAHAHA! ;) PAN~ www.federation-21.com www.big-i.com "Your 'i' on the digital art industry!"

Nice model, Pan...the others there, too. Interested in trying your hand at a trials/enduro/motocross motorcycle? That's how this all got started. :)

PANdaRUS ( ) posted Thu, 30 November 2000 at 1:33 PM

I was just telling Bill in the other post I was working on something close to that (for my comic). It's coming along nicely so far...at least I think so. I'll see what I can do to get some pictures up of it when I get home :) PAN~ www.federation-21.com www.big-i.com "Your 'i' on the digital art industry!"

Hee guys!...I have two of these wheelers here in the home. I fell over terribily once when one of them small front wheel hit a gap between two pavement stone (down the slope of a busy street). It flipped over and I flew off way front of it faster than a buck shot!...LOL! Bill

MikeJ ( ) posted Thu, 30 November 2000 at 3:44 PM

Ouch! I STILL have a scar from a similar problem with a skateboard a few years ago. Seems as though those little wheels hate it when you hit small rocks! I don't think you'd get me on one of those scooters!

Varian ( ) posted Thu, 30 November 2000 at 3:50 PM

Arrgh! Gee, and those little scooters look so safe! LOL! I'd much rather have a dirt bike. When properly geared, you're well padded, plus have a helmet, and woods grounds are much softer than pavement -- if you must suddenly view it up close. ;)

Well, what some people does here with it, including myself :) is that we go almost everywhere with one when possible....using it in shopping mall to a quick swoop to the supermarket. I, like most of the drivers here, have one in the car booth....handy when your car is down or out in the workshop when you dont have to go home. The lastest say about it is that if you have to much of it over, meaning kicking with one leg, you develope a sense of unbalance hen you walk....that is drifting to one side.....LOL!..no wonder at one stage , my wife was asking me why am I walking sideward onto her...LOL! Bill

LOL!

ROFL Bill! what an interesting picture that makes! :) You use it going to the shopping mall, like from the parking lot, right? I mean, you don't use it in a mall, do you? Back in my foolish youth, me and another guy decided to see how far we could get around on our roller skates -- they were outdoor skates -- and we used them to travel about 2 miles to the center of town. Once there, we went into a grocery store, and that linoleum flooring beneath our metals wheels was slick -- slippery, that is, very slippery. My friend knocked down a small display of coffee jars, so we quickly left that store and went to another. Before further damage occured, the second store asked us to leave. Wise move on their part! :)

tesign ( ) posted Fri, 01 December 2000 at 4:04 AM

Oh yes, all the way into the mall but drive myself and the scooter in a car park. When we window shop and stop for see something interesting, we just have to fold it and browse inside the shop. Supermarket, we put it in the shopping cart. Metal wheels?...golly!...that is like boots with metal stud on a bowling alley. Naughty huh!?...but fun;) Bill

Varian ( ) posted Fri, 01 December 2000 at 11:36 PM

LOL! Fun and crazy! But...I was about 10 years old. What's your excuse? big grin

tesign ( ) posted Sat, 02 December 2000 at 12:18 AM

Errr...the scooter helps me get to where I want faster...life is short...LOL! Bill

Varian ( ) posted Sat, 02 December 2000 at 12:31 AM

Works for me! :D

tesign ( ) posted Sat, 02 December 2000 at 12:50 AM

One thing though....you can get into a serious accident in the car park or ramp over from 2 storey or more over the corridor walk way guide...lefe can be even shorter then we think...LOL! (very loud!) Sorry Mike, this stuff here is getting more Ot and OT...scuse me and Varian...life is short and I already have one of my leg in the coffin! Don't mind a little spin of fun here, right!?...ha x2!....oh btw,I still carry a short gun around :) Bill

Varian ( ) posted Sat, 02 December 2000 at 2:22 AM

OMG...I think I won't be asking Santa for a scooter this year! (ROFLing at the image of Bill taking an unexpected flight off the ramp!) OT? Hmm...yes, I think even I'd have to admit this is pretty OT. But it's not my fault! pointing to Bill :) :)
