Max Indeks paced the floor waiting for confirmation.

The walls of the circular room were covered with monitors, each screen exhibiting a unique view of live action. None of the screens showed what he wanted to see.

"I'd better see her on screen fast or someone's gonna pay dearly" He said into the headpiece microphone.

"Um," came the voice of the technician on the other end of the line, "Sir, I er, um, wait. We've got her. Camera 3, sir."

"Multiply." Max ordered.

Suddenly every monitor showed the same image. It was a woman dressed in a pink outfit that resembled a cat; ears, tail and all.

The pink cat woman was on the top of a building roof. At her feet lay an unconscious guard.

"Who is that?" Max asked into his mic.

"Phillips, sir." Replied the technician.

"I'm paying you people too much." Max sighed.

The monitor showed the pink cat woman pulling the locked rooftop entry door open with superhuman strength, then she scampered inside.

"I want to be able to see her everywhere she goes." Max ordered.

The monitors switched into four separate views of the cat woman entering the top stairway and making her way downwards with quick, agile steps.

Max watched unsmilingly.

"Gas the stairwell, now!" Max ordered.

On the monitors, bursts of smoke could be seen emitting from minute openings in the walls. The pink cat woman leapt down to the next landing and crashed through the doorway rolling into the hallway of the seventy-sixth floor hallway.

"She smashed through that door pretty easily." Max grunted.

"We'll stop her, sir." Came back the nervous technician.

The monitors showed the pink cat woman taking the elevator down now.

"Well?" Max began pacing the floor again watching the monitors surrounding him.

"You're gonna like this one." Said the technician.

On the monitors, from three different views, the pink cat woman in the elevator could be seen looking up, watching the numbers of floors flip as the car descended.

Suddenly the elevator cables snapped and the car swiftly began to descend faster and faster towards the ground.

The monitors showed the pink cat woman busting through the ceiling of the elevator car and then jumping free and catching the side ladder that went up the elevator shaft walls.

As the elevator cables whipped by, the pink cat woman simply shifted her body aside to dodge them.

"You're oh for three boys." Max said, sweat beads on his brow.

"Uh, ye...yes sir. We're uh..."

Foregoing the rungs, the pink cat woman grasped the sides of the shaft ladder and clicked her heels to its sides and riding the rails began an immediate plunge into the darkness below.

"Well?" Max asked nervously.

Nothing but silence from the technician.

In the monitors the pink cat woman landed on the bottom floor and climbed over the crushed elevator car, squeezing through the opening and entering the lowest level of the building.

"You boys still around?" Max asked.

"Um, yes sir. Just um, we have one more idea."

"Better make it quick."

The pink cat woman made her way down the concrete hall of the lower level. She stepped on a trap floor. Her weight caused the mechanism to activate dropping the floor platform. Below was a net to catch her and ensnare her. But in an instant she reacted and with pure grace executed a sublime mid-air lunge catching the ceiling pipes with her hand. Using the pipes like monkey bars she passed over the hole and landed on solid footing.

"Gentlemen," Max began

The pink cat woman came to a door and with extraordinary strength pulled it open revealing a man standing alone in a circular room.

"You're services are no longer needed." Max said looking at Pink Pussycat.
