You picked a bad time to clone, permission or no. I've recently had to rename a celebrity clone at the request of Renderosity and Gwendolyn had her very popular clones pulled. I can only presume a 'cease and desist' letter has arrived at the Rosity offices recently and now the baby's going out with the bathwater.....

it is your responsibility to provide us with the WRITTEN and signed permission
Since when are emails not written? Even merchants don't have to go through such extreme lengths for copyright proofs, etc. Yes, written permission, but it doesn't have to be on paper. When did this start?

Why are you so hesitant to send us what we have asked for. If there is no problem then send us what we asked for and all will be fine. It is not our job to contact each and everyone who you say you have permission from it is your responsibility to furnish it when asked. Playboy has strict rules what can and can not be published all we ask is for you to send a letter from them and Miss October proving you have the right to use these photo's. As for the Porn we never said Porn we said the link went to a adult only site. I have tried to work this out with you in private but since you insist on bringing out into the open I feel we should let others know what we asked for is not beyond reason. This site has a TOS and you signed this when you joined. We all did. It is our responsiblilty to uphold this TOS and protect this site from being sued for use of copyright material. I don't feel we have been unreasonable to ask for proof and we do this with all members not just you. SndCastie Poser Moderator

Because I didn't have a signature! That's what you told me you had to have. I do have permission. And playboy was never involved, they washed their hands of it. It had nothing what so ever to do with them. But you refused to listen to that. You wanted me to get written permisson from the photographer and model for SNAPSHOTS! I told you where to go to confirm. I did work with you. It would have involved no more effort on your part than sending me ONE of the multiple messages you sent me. You didn't want to put yourself out. I want to see the proof that you have written and signed permisssion from all those subjects of the photography section. I'll bet money you don't.

...except your refusal to supply the releases. Therefore, I'm locking this thread before any more steam gets blown out of the vents. First, we are not supposed to go writing to everybody and creation to check up on your sources. YOU must have the proof that you have the right to use an image and you must deliver that proof to our office when asked. A signed model release is standard in the industry. If you don't have a signed model release, you ought not to be posting copyrighted images. If you can't provide such a release, YOU are in violation of the copyright laws and of the laws of this site. Second, the TOS quite clearly says that you must not link to a site which is age-restricted due to adult content. Those links must go. Third, betting money is perhaps illegal in Tennessee where this site is hosted. But, if you do wish to gamble, I'd suggest that you would have more luck if you understood the rules of the game. I'm attaching the TOS link so that you may refresh yourself with it... particularly this provision: "A signed model release with Photo-ID must be provided upon request if posting images with photographic nudes." Please notice the word "must". That is an absolute declaration of responsibility. If *you* do not have such a release, deliverable upon request, you may not post photographic nudes. I made a model of, Kimberly Holland, Playboy's Miss October 2004. I rendered an image. I sent the image to Kimberly, asking if it was okay to use it. I also asked her if I could use some of her personal snapthots. She affirmed to both. I contacted Justin Zucker of Playboy, he tells me there's no problem with Playboy on either issue, just so long as I'm not using their photos. I'm not. So I post the image. Suddenly I start getting messages from the admins: We need a signed release You can't have a link to a site that has porno links on it So, I give the admins the contact info of both Zucker and Holland. Now, I'm linking to Kimberly Holland's yahoo group. It has links that take you inside the Playboy Cyberclub (you have to be a member to see them). Those are porn links? Hello? Hippocracy!!! This site has images of naked children on it and all kinds of S&M paraphenlalia being sold for people's artwork and suddenly Playboy is porn? And there's a render of a model of Angelina Jolie posting just hours before MY IMAGE! Do they have a model release for THAT ONE? (Yes, I had to have permission to use the figure too! It's kimberly's likeness. I have it, Renderosity refuses to confirm it). Bottom line is this: I want to know the real why Renderosity is so opposed to this image.
