Subject: HELP! Major problems exporting in Poser 4 and Poser 5

Hi all;

Psyched up to do a morph I decide to load the new teen figure and try to export the head as an .obj. When I try my usual way, and try to click "As Morph Target (no world transformations)" it just blinks and will not stay checked. The only ones that can be checked are "include figure names in polygon groups" and "weld body part seams." The rest refuse to work, and what I need is the "As morph target" one. Thinking that this was just a glitch in the program, I reloaded Poser, still didn't work. Then I loaded Poser 5 and tried. Still didn't work. I rebooted (a few times) and it still wouldn't work. I even tried changing from one interface to the other. Even changed my screen resolution! I don't recall having this problem before and suddenly it will not work in Poser 4 or Poser 5. I also tried doing this with other figures!

Has anyone had this problem before? Or have any suggestions? Please.

I'm sooooooo frustrated!

Thanks in advance!

Have a good day.

God Bless all!

Let the export dialog box open. Open another application (Workpad, Acdsee or whatever...) Click on Poser' export dialog box title bar (to get it in foreground) Now you can access all the options. You can let the other app in background. Actually, you can go to any other open window, then back to Poser and the function works. If no other window is already open, displaying the clock will work, also. Hope it helps -D

LOL A play on words there... BTW I AM saved, but you also saved me from tossing my PC out the window. Even P6 does this. You would have think they fixed it by now. Applied SR-1 no go. maclean was the one that pointed it out from the DAZ forum. Thanks again.

Oh, ok. Well good to hear you're saved spiritually! And I'm glad to hear your PC is saved. Yeah, when it happened in Poser awhile ago as I was working on something, I wasn't sure what to do. I need to try that with Poser 6 and see if it does that again. Really? Wow, I'm surprised to hear others are having that problem too. I wonder why they haven't fixed that. Oh well, something to hope they will fix in future Service Packs. :) Btw, do you know a good morph editor? Hope to hear from you online soon! God Bless you :) ~RnRWoman
