Awesome, Stoney! I even noticed the time you spent on using different textures on the overhead pipes (nice touch!). As to hatch opening (but nothing being behind), who cares (LOL) fix it with post or don't show it from an angle that look in the opening. BTW, what were these rendered in?

I figured your "textureless" ones were in your modeler but I wasn't sure about the textured ones. This is some really great results! PS: Noticed a few threads being deleted by you (smile)...I think everyone knows your talent has soared since 2003...no need to run around deleting stuff (grin).

You've outdone yourself, Stef. These look awesome, both textures and model. May I suggest spliting the ceiling and floor into separate groups? Makes it easier to do those camera looking down and camera looking up shots.

I'm glad the hatch opening looking out to nothing is still there - I can use the Dekotek props (there's a door opening shaped like that) :) :) :)

"May I suggest spliting the ceiling and floor into separate groups? Makes it easier to do those camera looking down and camera looking up shots. " more groups..Sure :)..I'll get onto that tomorrow.actually ther's a panel I'd like to duplicate too so getting back to the modeller wont be a problem ;) hey Ajax, does P5 allow 'light emitting' materials?

"I'm glad the hatch opening looking out to nothing is still there " Movida..nope,I didn't make them poseable, the hatches can't move at all,..I do plan on using hatches more in other models though and I will make them poseable in future. Groups: Mainwall LeftWall RightWall Section End Valves/wheels..there are 4 of these ,2 on each wall. another 2 groups, floor and ceiling will be also created

Stef, nope, no light emitting materials I'm afraid. Best you can do is pump up the ambience, the same as in P4. There are ways to make a material even brighter than that, but you can't make it light up things around it at all. However, if you build a sphere around your light there's a way to make it look like a surrounding glow. The pic is a quick demo (two concentric spheres - one for the light and one for the glow). If I took more time over it I could probably make it look a lot better than it does.

That's done with procedural edge blend, so it doesn't matter what angle the camera looks at the sphere from, the glow will always look the same.

Damn fine work Stef! The textures are excellent! You've really outdone yourself with all the different groups though.
