Subject: Conforming shoes to long-legged VV3

I've noticed that you can't conform any shoes to Wyrmmaster's VV3 when you use the "long-legged" morphs on her. The shoes always attach themselves to her ankles instead of her feet. Has anyone figured out a fix for this?
I want to use them in an animation, so moving them around manually and parenting them is not the way I'd like to go. Thanks!

I have never been able to get shoes and other footwear to conform to any V3 with "streched" legs. I use Veronika Vixen and Victoria Vogue. My solution is to reduce the y-scale on the chest, abodmen, and hip to make the legs porportionally longer. V3 can also benefit from a reduction in z-scale as well, since in my opinion, she is too thick.

I can get boots to conform plausibly if you give them a greater Y scale to match the elongated shins.

Hmm i have tried increasing the Y scale on boots but when i bend the legs at the knee the boots tend to bend at the wrong angle and the looks rather awful.. :-(

I have never tried putting shoes on these figures, but obviously the origin point of the foot bone is a lot lower than the one on the shoes.I don't know if this would work but this is what i would try. I would load up this VV3 memorize the figure and save it as a character. I would then import the obj of the shoes in the workspace position them properly for VV3 and assuming you have Propack send them to the setup room, in the setup room I would assign the shoes the skeleton of the saved VV3 and create a new character out of the shoes. By assigning the VV3 skeleton all the joints should now match up and conform properly.

Smooh-- I have found generally that V3 footwear doesn't bend properly, even with default settings. Try bending the boot slightly, then twisting it slightly side to side. This sometimes helps

This image in my gallery shows a long-legged Veronika Vixen (heavily tweaked by me). Shoes and socks conform perfectly. Rather that stretching the legs, I reduced the y-scale of the chest, abdomen, and hips. Note that the dress conforms perfectly. Body scaling does not adversely affect clothes fit. Scaling reduction is: chest- Scale 95%, X-Scale 95%, Y-Scale 100%, Z-Scale 90% abomen- Scale 95%, X-Scale 100%, Y-Scale 90%, Z-Scale 100% hips- Scale 95%, X-Scale 100%, Y-Scale 100%, Z-Scale 100% collars- Scale 100%, X-Scale 100%, Y-Scale 95%, Z-Scale 95% Remember, its the porportions that matter.

I was going to try DominiqueB's suggestion but noticed something that I hadn't noticed earlier. As you can see in the pic, with the longer legs morph applied (the shins are y-scaled up by 120%) , the feet are distorted. Weird!
