Subject: Is there a program to compair cr2 files?

This may be off topic... but is there a free program that will compair 2 cr2 file to find out what has changed? By the way I would like to thank RoyG for all the help with my cr2 problems. skee

Lately I've been wrestling with something called WinMerge, that is a general file comparing utility. Gonna watch this, though -- there's gotta be something easier!!

Since cr2s are just text files, any texf file comparison utility will do the job. If you do a Google search for something like: text file compare windows you should find several. Windiff is the classic that Microsoft includes with all their development tools. You can get a copy at the included link which also has a commercial product which has more features.

IIRC John Stallings has a program here in freestuff that will open a pair of cr2 files in side-by-side windows.
