Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 13 11:02 am)
You haven't sauntered over to TurboSquid yet have you? ;0) You can get a basketball for between $35 and $124. Some figures are $50, $120, $350, $600, and up and up. Oh, but the quality isn't better or they aren't rigged or no morphs and so on. Daz3D, comparatively, is inexpensive...

They're also REALLY damned expensive! :( I can't afford it...
Ironically, a free stripped-down version of the MilDragon (no morphs, textures, ERC, MAT files, or props) was available for a short while as a promotional gimmick.
Join DAZ's Platinum Club. You'll get a 30% discount on all DAZ original products, plus monthly vouchers and other bonuses. Also try to shop for high-profile items when they're on sale, particularly during their introductory sales. I paid less than $20 for the full MilDragon when she was released.
The 3D Starter Content package (ds_bn001) at DAZ includes a limited version of the MilDragon, with texture, and is only $29.95.
If you're looking for a dragon, you really couldn't do much better than this one and as little dragon says, if you join the DAZ PC then there are huge savings to be made plus tons of stuff for $1.99 or if you're in the UK just a Quid! Also DAZ regularly give stuff away or give vouchers out for all sorts of reasons, they're a very generous provider IMHO. Oh and almost forgot you also get a $5 voucher to spend every month as well.
Injustice will be avenged.
Cofiwch Dryweryn.
I actually got my MilDragon and Bryce 5 for free...I wrote several tutorials for DAZ, and tutorials pay a $25 voucher each. And Bryce was on sale. Heh. Oh, and I agree that DAZ's figures are very well priced. Yes, they are a lot of money (especially if you don't have a job...) but like kuroyume0161 said, most models are far more expensive, and often not as good.
They do? I didn't see it. I know they have Draconis Rex, but it's not free.
Since dragons are a favorite Poser item, here's all the people I know of that have dragons available here at Rendo. Search for their names to find them (Searching for dragon yeilds a lot of unrelated stuff)
Free:
Valandar - Land Dragon, and Land Dragon Wings
konan - Ultimate Dragon (static model. They have three on their site, and a jointed one for sale.)
bobit - AN8 format
For sale:
Mock - Mock's Dragon
odeathoflife - Small Wing Dragon, odeathofTOON_DRAGON, Toon Dragon Too
Valandar - Shen Lung Oriental Dragon
PhilC - The PhilC Dragon
Curio - Curio's Majestic Dragon
sixus1 - Draconis Rex
I have one too, but it needs more work. I just don't know if I should remove it, or submit the new version as an update ^_^U Anyway, the above are all nicely made, and the Marketplace ones aren't expensive. I think the most expensive one is only $30. There are also lots more on other sites.

...I feel stupid. Does this figure come packaged with poser or something?
