Subject: DM Freebie Floor Weirdness

I am encountering a strange problem with some of the DM "freebies" I have downloaded - The Dome, Throne Room and Action Hall. When I do a "draft render" everything looks fine. But when I do a "production" render, the floor in all three suddenly jumps up about 6 feet or so and becomes a ceiling. If you want I can provide a pair of examples. This is with changing nothing between renders. I encounter the problem in both the DM-supplied .pz3's, and when I import the floor into a scene manually. Deleting the floor and substituting something else removes the problem, so its something specifically related to those particular items. I am using Poser v5.0.4.335, Mac OS X, 10.3.5 draft render - http://homepage.mac.com/twclark/Render1.jpg Production - http://homepage.mac.com/twclark/Render2a.jpg

Select the objects one at a time. In each item, go to the properties panel for it, and down towards the bottom, uncheck polygon smoothing.

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

That fixed it. Thanks!
