Subject: Textures for Poser figures

I just got Poser 3 (I'm poor, ok?) and I've got several figures ready to use in some Bryce 3D projects, but I don't know how to set good textures for them once I get them into Bryce. Is there a format that will bring colors over to Bryce from Poser, or will I need a texture map (or picture?). And if the latter is the case, where can I get one that shows all of the different parts... ie. hair, lips, eyes, finger & toenails, nipples... I need HELP!

Just use the Obj format. Once you load them, bryce will probably ask you for the location of the textures. Just point to the Poser textures, and you should be allright.-Nando.

That will work in Bryce 4, not Bryce 3d (Sorry to contradict you Kurka) I believe you have to rotate the texture map in the material's editor. I'm not sure the degree or which axis. I remember struggling with that issue when I had Poser 3 and Bryce 3d. Look in the tutorials there should be a detailed step by step in there, You will have to adjust the Ambiunce (sp) after you've applied the texture as well, good luck. Check out the resource section here, there are a lot of great tutorials, and this technique is one of the most common questions so you'll find answers there. :) Boni
