Subject: Werewolf?

Attached Link: Here's Schlabber's poses

I was checking my Schlabber-poses and some of them were f a woman interacting with a werewolf. That werewolf looked pretty cool but what character is that? On Schlabber's site it says "Werewolf is from The Wolfsman" Does anybody know this character? I looked at Sixus1's werewolf but it doesn't look like that's the one used. And doesn't fit the description either.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

No, it's not by Sixus1. This was a much older figure. It was released a short while after Lemurtek's Wolfgang.

Wolfmetal Studios

I recall thewolfman was working on a newer version based on Michael 2, but I don't know if he ever finished it.

There's a Wolfman for M2 available for sale at Daz3d.

Werewolf? There wolf! (Pointing towards the dark hills) Rule number one. Never give up the opportunity to use a Young Frankenstein referance in a post. :)

There >>>> Castle! (Always finish the line...that sets up the cue for the other actors...) And thanks for the tips on the other Garou figures!

Little_Dragon.. as cool as your link was, there's no actual downloads at that site :o( So I'm still looking for a werewolf. Preferably with digitigrade feet, which is where the one from Sixus doesn't QUITE cut it IMO. It looks cool and it's close to what I want, but... Not 100% what I had in mind. The one on Schlabber's poses fits the bill but that one is apparently unavailable :o( Does anyone have it? Can you please see if there's a readme and what it says about redistribution? faint hope I tried to contact Wolfman but no reply. At least not yet.

Did you look at the Garou and Lycantrope werewolves at Sixus1 as well as the older werewolf character? The newer ones have digitigrade legs.

I looked at the Lycanthrope I believe. Prolly time for a second look then :o) In the meantime I've been playing a little with M3's morphs. Not too bad I think, despite the lack of digitigrade legs...

out of interest, why digigrade legs? with that jointing, the balance would be way off for a upright stance. the WW would only be able to hold it for a few seconds at a time... (classic biology and mechanics)

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Wed, 03 November 2004 at 11:11 AM

Well.. of courseyou're right from a biomechanical point of view. I guess I just think it looks cool L Less like a "man in a wolfsuit" I guess.

Lycanthrope for Behemoth (Sixus1) has digitigrade legs. Garou (Sixus1) stand-alone figure has digitigrade legs. Werewolf (Sixus1) stand-alone figure, while an older model, has digitigrade legs. Wolfgang and Constanze (Lemurtek (available here in Little Dragon's free stuff)) have digitigrade legs - and while they are more 'furry', with the right texture they could easily pass for werewolves. Anubus (Serrge) is based on M2 and has no morphs, but has digitigrade legs. Hope this helps.

Here are Wolfgang, Constanze, Lycanthrope, and Garou side by side.

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Wed, 03 November 2004 at 3:14 PM

Thanks Libernull :) That's a great way of comparing them. For now, I'll go with my M3 morph, but these look great. Lycanthrope comes close to what I was looking for :)

Don't forget Serrge's Anubis, here in the Marketplace. Basically, Michael 2 with digitigrade legs and the P4 wolf's head.
