There are many really nice models out there that have the arms in the "0/straight out position". I know certain formats can be brought into Poser but can we do anything with them to fix the arms? 3ds etc...

ellocolobo, The 'arms straight out' position is the default for all Poser people. See attached image of Casual Boy, Casual Don, Victoria3, Nude Baby and Gramps meshes. This image was done by loading the wavefront .obj files from Runtime/Geometries. Any mesh can be turned into a posable figure, it just needs some bones setup. Luckily for you, Dr Geep's doing a Setup Room Tutorial covering that very task. Look at these three threads: [Dr Geep's Setup Room Tutorial Pages 01-10](http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1977525) [Dr Geep's Setup Room Tutorial Pages 11-20](http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1981504) [Dr Geep's Setup Room Tutorial Pages 21-25](http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1989913)

If the arms aren`t straight out you can change the rotations in the joint editor later. I did that for a figure where the hands were flat out instead of faced down and it worked perfectly.
