BeyondVR's new WW2 Destroyer in Poser and Bryce versions which work fantastic. Quickly posed to check out the gun stations. Explosions in Amorphium Pro, muzzle blasts, water explosion, and bow wave in Rhino 2. Water surface courtesy of Bryce terrain.

One minor gripe, I'd rotate the .mat on the grey part of the hull by 90 degrees.........apart from that, nice piece of work!

BeyondVR has a store at 3d commune. The models should be ready in about a week. Thanks for comments everyone. I am stoked that I get to play with such high quality models. Guns, torpedos, and radars are all animatable. In the Poser version there are dials to rotate everything, but in Bryce you have to select the part and use the edit menu to rotate.

Yes, I have used the Essex before. My dad served on the Essex during the Korean War and was quite pleased to see a 3d model of her. I am so glad John is making this stuff. I can't wait for the battleship to come out.
