Just talk with Element 5, the people doing the order fulfilment for Eovia. They say that they havn't received shipment from Eovia yet and as such there are no boxes to ship. They also said that they will be sending UPS tracking info to the email address given them during the order process. How's THAT for a bunch of marketing whoey? Eovia says that they are shipping, but they only fulfill the orders through a company that hasn't received any copies yet. :( You'd think that they would have advanced the shipment to Element 5 so that THEY would be shipping on the target date. Oh well.... (taping foot on floor...) I'm sure it's on it's way... (frowns out window as UPS truck drives by...)
They mass-ship based on how many units sold already. There's not a whole lot of Eovia customers to begin with. And if they've out-sourced their shipping department to E5 (which charges by the bulk), we'll just have to wait a bit.

Hey Ringo! Unfortunately (it is better to say stupidly) my site is in WIP for still some weeks (toxedesign.com), but you can see my works here at r'osity. Also i have wrote a decent article on the last issue of 3dxtract if you want to know some things about Garibaldi and Toxe's Golden Rules... -TOXE

Thank you Toxe. Hi, gang. This afternoon I got my C4P box.....I won't spoil it for you guys by giving you details about it. But I will say this...Hats off to Eovias development team for the great job they have done. Davide Toshches, I love the cover illustration looks much better than on the website. Carl desmond, great cover design. Oh and I think I need a dolly to carry this 600 page manual. :-) I love it. Later guys. Ringo P.S. Davide is wearing the Tshirt just to let you know. LOL
I got home found the C4P package on the kitchen table, sparked up the computer and found a new email telling me the package was shipped! I've played with it fo for a couple of minutes and I'm in love! Unfortunately I can't get Amapi to load up on my computer (Win XP Home). I've sent a note to Eovia support and I hope they can help, but I'm almost as happy since the Carrara is working. Mike
Got my shipping notice! Gotta wait for monday though to receive it... :( It's gonna be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG weekend! I've seen that error before when I installed a couple programs in a row once. I rebooted the system and everything was fine after that. I don't remember what program it was when I got it, but it was on XP home.
yeah... I just got my notice... I gotta wait another week... ordered 9/16, card charged 9/17... expected delivery 11/4... gonna be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG week reading about how much fun everyone's having.... Not that I blame Eovia... I think that Element5 leaves a lot to be desired... All of this just confirms what I've thought for years... that Lubbock, Texas must be one of the most remote and God-forsaken places on the planet... and I must be the only one here getting CP4... I might as well be waiting on the French Version...

I used to get my Eovia software from the Eovia office 12 miles from me in San Diego. Now I'm getting it from an E5 outlet on the east coast somewhere.

As anybody gotten a shipping notification? Is Eovia even doing that? Just wondering so I can make plans to be home when it arrives. I had it shipped 2nd day, and Eovia press release said they had shipped, but I haven't received any notification yet. Just curious whether they are behind or not.
