I've got to agree with Ms Outlaw on that, I just picked up version 9 and it's $400 cheaper than Photoshop, and as far as I've been able to tell it's only draw back is the quirky way it handles alpha information being used as a mask. Other than that it seems to do everything photoshop does, just without the giant corporation behind it (hence the extra money).
And older versions of paintshop pro often appear on computer magazine cover discs. The frames feature has been there for a long time.

Hey everyone, I have Vue 5 and I want to put a beautiful frame around my images to showcase online. I see people doing it all the time. Is it possible to do it within Vue 5, or do I need another program to accomplish such a task?? If I need another program which I assume, what would be good for that? Is there any freeware or shareware programs that will do it? I'm on a Mac G5 so it would have to be a compatible program. Thanks for the help. P.S. Any freeware or shareware programs that allow you to add a signature to an image would be great too. Or a program that does both....even better. Thanks. (- :
