Welcome to the Poser Technical Forum.

This is the place you come to ask questions and share new ideas about using the internal file structure of Poser to push the program past it's normal limits.

Hi, mateo_sancarlos. Last time, Thank you for your help. I Iearned by your teaching and I think I can make model by using group tool. I could last time. I think it is simple, so, I can. Leally, I can make simple model now. But, complicated model cannot. Let me know more please. You teach me use weld command. I think there is two weld command. One is weld group of poser. And the other is weld command of Rhino. Which do you mean? I made model by Rhino 3D. Because it is easy. And I imported it in Poser. One way bone is no problem. It is fine. You see, it is not breaked. But, When the figure is like branch, it is breaked always. When the parents has two more child, it is breaked always. Please see my process. I import obj file in Poser. And I make bone in Setup Room, and I command Auto Group. And problem is next. When I exit Groupping tool, it will be breaked. Tell me that how can I weld command. I'm just beginner of Poser, So, Please tell me in detail. Frankly speaking, I don't know 'weld' exactly. You can see my image in next website. http://www.visionmode.co.kr/001/born-02/008.html

Weld command in Rhino (if similar to other 3D apps) will convert 2 vertices to a single vertex and delete any connecting link between the 2. But the weld statement in a Poser cr2 file is meant to prevent breaks or gaps between adjacent groups during bending operations. If these breaks occur in your airplane model, it's a case of non-identical vertices at group boundaries (as in the earlier problem with your airplane wing), or the lack of proper group locations and welds. In the final case where your airplane splits apart at the nose, this is because there's no stationary intermediate group to weld the two side parts together. If your airplane splits at the nose, then model it like a human form, with head, chest, arms, hip and legs.
Yes, I feel that I come up close to a solution. You said, "it's a case of non-identical vertices at group boundaries or the lack of proper group locations and welds". I think first answer is close, because, I checked "Show Multigrouped faces" and "Show non-grouped faces" in "Grouping tool". And I checked by "invert group" in "Hidden line Display". There was no lack group location. So, I want to know to making "identical vertices" I think it is made when import obj file. When import obj file, popup window open, and there is "weld identical vertices". Of course, I checked it. And I imported obj file in Poser, and made bone, and made 'Auto Group'. And I commanded "weld group" before close Group and before leaving Setup Room. I just commanded 'weld group" each group - bone_1, bone_2, bone_3, bone_4. And I didn't touch any fix. There was defolt value - 0.000086. Do you know what I did mistake? You can see my image in next website. http://www.visionmode.co.kr/001/born-02/009.html
In the case of the green airplane splitting at the wings, you should add another group, so that the wing bones are at right angles to the intermediate group, which you will place between the front and rear bones. Thus you will have a nose-cone bone, a fuselage bone (with wingbones on either side), and a tailbone. Using the "weld identical vertices" command won't work correctly if any of the group boundary vertices are not identical. So you must double-check all group boundary vertices in Rhino prior to exporting, using a magnification of 16X (1600 %) or more. If Rhino's vertex modeller allows you to enter numeric values for vertex coordinates, then copy-and-paste the same values for boundary vertices.

I made a model.
I grouped it with my utmost sincerity.
But, it was breaked apart.
I don't know what is matter.
Can you help me please?
