update for those with interest: havent done a whole lot lately on this this is a new bang object, the rest is same as before been working on "combing" and trying to control the shape looks pretty decent i think.... think ill pull it away from the forehead toward the top and work on part some more and add a few stray strands and call this bang done.... still using the same tex and trans map as before the lines are a bit too bold and not close enough together, still looks a bit like straw.... i give up on trying to fight the green tent in lighter colors... maybe a solution will present itself later... just gona concentrate on getting finished objects now and fix the transmap and texture, just going to stick with darker shades...lol

Y'all have a great day.

I've been following this with a lot of interest. One thing, I've been meaning to ask, what are you using for this hair? I guess I missed that part(no pun intended)somehow.:0)

thanks for the replies... heres a pic of the objects rendered with no transparencies...looks like a huge file doesnt it... there are 3 objects here ranging in size from 500-700kb and a and another that covers the ears thats 206kb... i still have a long way to go on this ... my goal is to have them render in poser without any post work..with modules for differing hairstyles long and short... render time is slow on my obsolete 200mhz machine i need to find someone who has a newer machine to test their render time... all in all i think this is going to work nicely once i get past a few hurdles and decide on styles of hair i want to create... again thanks for the replies its good to see that someones interested.. :O)

Y'all have a great day.

oh forgot to mention i model in rhino art...and another note haircolor can be changed by simply sliding the colors on the texture map up or down...or by flipping texture vertically

Y'all have a great day.
