Hey Everyone, Has anyone heard/read official word from Eovia regarding the T-shirt and book incentive, for preordering C4? I didn't expect the goodies to be packed in when I received my order, but some sort of notice or information would help me sleep better at night ;) Todd

This was posted at 3DXtract by Bob at Eovia: THIS MESSAGE IS TO EVERYONE THAT PRE-BOOKED THE CARRARA 4 UPGRADE AND DID NOT RECEIVE THE BONUS ITEMS WITH THE SHIPMENT OF THE SOFTWARE. I know that there have been many of you that have received your Carrara 4 upgrade software, but did not receive the bonus items. I have finally achieved a resolution for this issue. Please follow these directions to receive your bonus items: Send an email to shipping@us.element5.com providing: 1. your order number 2. a list of the bonus items you did not receive (t-shirt, tips & tricks book, etc.) 3. if you provided a t-shirt size, please tell them what size you asked for Please copy me on your email: bob@eovia.com. The items will be shipped to you shortly. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience of this process, and thank you for supporting Eovia and Carrara. I did send element 5 an email the day after I got C4. My stuff showed up on my door this morning! -Kix

I did sent an Email to Bob and to Element 5 on 11/04/04 and I got mine today too.

Alas, your true identity unveilved! Hey, where do you get your cape dry-cleaned? ;) Nice to meet you Chuck, albeit in a virtual sense. :) BTW... did you get a copy of the C4 Tips & Tricks book? Is it a very short read? I'm hoping that it will be a bit more extensive than a "booklet".

LOL, I knew someone would make the double identity comment! I created the account at work just to keep it "work related" and justify my frequent visits to this board. :-) As for the Tips and Tricks Book, I haven't received my shirt and book yet either - I just got my C4 shipment last Tuesday so it will probably be the end of this week before I get my extras. However, a friend of mine got hers and she said the Tips and Tricks book was only about 18 pages in length and about the size of an 8.5x11 sheet folded over... so I'm guessing it's more like a "booklet." I just got mine yesterday... and it's a booklet. BUT... I also got the ever fashionable Eovia t-shirt! ;)
