Subject: Transparency in the Assembly Room!

How come no one has mentioned the cool transparency availiable with the Eovia Software Renderer in the Assembly Room (CP4)? I must be easy to impress.

I think they did mention it under the code name "alpha" .

Wow, that is nice... thanks for pointing it out Ed! I had no idea it was in there. I discovered a useful one for me the other day, the ability to turn off "Full Screen Mode" and put Carrara into a window. It's nice for us OSX users to get quick access to the Dock or the Desktop. Chuck

What Transparency in the assembly room? Where do you find it and how does it work?

Open the Interactive Renderer Settings by clicking on the arrow icon on the right of the assembly window. Toward the bottom of the dialog box you can select transparency and/or reflections. Make sure Eovia Software is selected from the drop down box at the top of the dialog.
