I've used Supermesh a few times & it is a nice plug-in. There are a couple of freebie apps that will convert grayscale to 3D as a stand-alone or as a plug to Photoshop. Cybermesh is a good one that is available for PC & MAC at: http://www.puffindesigns.com/support/downloads.html The others (for MAC) are BSmooth, Terrainman, MacDem (great!) & I think Meshwork. The advantage to Supermesh is its' interactivity as you can change the parameters "on the fly" to make changes.

Question: Does anyone out there use the plug-in (extension) called SuperMesh with RDS 5.5? What can I do with it that I can't do within the main program itself. Is it worth the money? Problem: I tried out the demo of SuperMesh (haven't tried their others yet); however, the SuperMesh registration window does not pop-up in Ray Dream. So, if I purchase the RDS 4-extension pak, how am I supposed to enter the emailed key files? I'm not off to a good start here! (I emailed the company, ZenStar, but they haven't answered me yet--it's the weekend don't ya know!)
