estherau ( ) posted Tue, 16 November 2004 at 3:57 AM · edited Tue, 21 January 2025 at 2:27 AM

Hi, I just went to eon website and found all the beta upgrades for vue4pro seem to have gone. Now I presume the build number if it's higher numerically than my vue4pro one then that is the latest one, but it doesn't seem to mention my old build number and the incremental update doesn't update from my old version. I have a mac. Love esther My curren settings:- mac computer, build 270996 version 4.53-02 with mover 5

That's a higher build number than mine, so I think I need to download that version. I just wondered where all the beta versions that used to be there had gone and why there's not an incremental upgrade from my current version. Love esther

Could it be that they prepare the terrain for 5 Pro? Or prepare the terrain for an official update and you bumped into right in the middle of that process? Have you tried to check for an update automatically? I would try that, maybe... For the rest i simply would ask E-on directly in the registered user forum over there.

Hi Walter, How areyou? I think the auto update doesn't look for the betas, but anyway I'm not actually online on my G5 mostly which is the one I use for vue. You're probably right and that vue 4 pro won't be changed much anymore now that vue 5 pro is on the way. I'm sure hoping they give me a good upgrade deal though. I found vue 4pro a bit disapponting. For example, I could never get the things I made to export properly to use in poser except for very simple things. I'm also having animation problems with poke through of dynamic clothes which wasn't in my poser animation that I just imported when I looked at it in poser. Love esther
