OK besides the sword, what else needs work ye think? Also, I have my moniter brightness set relatively low, so if the pic looks bright to you, it won't to me, so tell me if you want it darker.

Stick the sword upright..partly into that blue-gray stuff. I like that bluish light.. and the gray mat. Looks like magical lava from a volcano. You sword has a funny 'extra' on blade near the handle. Make it a bit lavish..and stick it onto the lava...right where the glow is.. and of course..make it bigger.

Lava? Looks like water to me. Stick a woman's hand coming out of the water holding the sword.......I'm with eros on this, take a good look at the blade.......

yeah, it needs something to "ground" the sword into this environment. Is it floating in the air? Is it on the ground? Is it in water? Hard to tell. Some strategical use of shadows could help a lot.
