I recently received a package to try out, but I am completely clueless as how to use them. They are png/psd tools, and I was just curious if anyone knew of a tutorial I could use on how to load and use them. Or if it was easy enough for someone to break it down to me here.

I'm not sure what you need help with. You should be able to open .png files in Photoshop.

Sorry I should have explained this better.... I have an image that I have already rendered and am getting ready to postwork- and the package that I received has special effects that are in png format that I would like to apply to my image...how do I do this? Thanks again and sorry for any confusion:)

Open the .png file, then drag the image in that file over to the image you're working on. That should do the trick, I think.
