I am thinking about purchasing this pack and need to know the particulars of clothing her, IE; will V3 and V2 stuff fit?

It's a morphed version of Judy (which comes with a lot more morphs than the default version.) The mesh uses V2 textures, again, better than the default Judy does (especially the eyes.) For clothing, you'll need to use items intended for Judy unless you're good with the Tailor or have some other way of adapting V2/V3/Posette clothing for her. Fortunately, there's some great stuff for Judy around, e.g. at PhilC's site. This is a very fine product, I wouldn't be using Judy at all without it.

Madmax2011 Actually the original Judy clothing doesn't fit EJ perfectly (mostly it's a bit loose). It will work but the fit isn't perfect. Also EJ has some joint parameter tweaks that can cause a few problems with some of the original Judy clothing, That's the bad news. The good news is that EJ is a beauty, to my eye she is pretty than Judy is out of the box. Also there has been a great deal of clothing created for EJ lately, most of it is in the market place. Ej has her own section, I suggest you check it out. Mike

EJ is abso-fraggin-lutely effing-bloody awesome! her face is easily more beautiful than V3's out of the box, and also in fact more morphable. There is a crazy amount of dials for things such as eye shape that V3 (as great a goddess as she is)cannot aspire to. I liked Judy's original body shape (though her head is truly an abomination against polygons) and EJ's body is similar yet refined, and yeah she takes to Judy clothing pretty well. I wish that there was more EJ specific clothes, as I truly feel (at the price 3dream is asking) that everyone who has Poser 5 should get EJ. OK now the downside..... She is kinda hard to pose... her limits seem a bit off and you can get her in some weird position even with limits enabled. But again I HIGHLY reccomend EJ!!!!!

The P5 dynamic clothing can be fitted to EJ pretty well; the trick is to morph her back to the original Judy shape on frame 1. Dynamic clothing will fit perfectly at frame 1. Morph her to the shape you want at a later frame, calculate the dynamics, and voila. And I agree with Berserga: EJ is a GORGEOUS model and comes loaded with hundreds of morphs. The provided textures look very good too, and she's a lot lighter on system resources than V3. I'm working - slowly! - on a dynamic clothing pack for EJ, I'll upload it to freestuff when it's ready.

I also have to endorse EJ. She's just the best figure I've used. I prefer her over any of the so-called "millenium figures".

(Sits in the rocking chair, remembering all the yowls and catcalls about Posette and Vickie that changed to oohs and ahhs when Traveler worked his morphing magic on them). EJ is definitely a nice mod to work with.

Phantast ( ) posted Thu, 18 November 2004 at 9:46 AM

My only disappointment with EJ is that while there are many many morphs changing different bits of the face - even down to individual sections of the eyebrows - it can be hard to combine these for specific ethnic effects. If you want, say, an African face, you are very much on your own in trying to piece one together.

I'm working on making a magnet kit & joint setting pose to make converting Vick1 clothes to EJ easier. If people are interested I could post the kit to freestuff... Lyrra

say doesn't basic judy have some ethnicity dials? (Maybe that's only in the face room) Been a long time since I looked... anyway. If she does couldn't you transfer those morphs to EJ with Morph Manager?

Lyrra, that would be wonderful! My V1 has a HUGE wardrobe that is mainly gathering dust. I just love EJ. I refused to use Judy until I got her because her face repulsed me.

Lyrra Add my voice to those that would be grateful for a clothing conversion kit. mike

That would be wonderful Lyrra!! Is PoserWorld going to start making EJ Clothing?

cedarwolf ( ) posted Thu, 18 November 2004 at 9:02 PM

Lyrra, this sounds just lovely...I've been considering what to do with some of my birthday money and considering EJ as an option...this may clench it.

I rarely used Judy until I picked up EJ. Great little figure. :O)

EJ is really gorgeous. I use her with dynamic clothing - coz it fits everything. Remeber you can dynamicize a lot of conforming clothes too. Highly recommended, she finally makes poor Judy useable.
