The original Tawnie was released back in January of 2004, one of my first V3 textures/characters and still one of my best selling. So as I have learned more about texturing, about lighting, about Poser 5, I decided I would give Tawnie a new life!I rebuilt the textures, gave her new make-up options, a slightly different more exotic morph and then Optimized it all for Poser 5 to bring out all the details of this gorgeous texture set! These textures are incredibly detailed right down to the little scar on her chin, and the fine dark hairs on her arms.
(Please note none of these textures or MAT poses will over-ride any of the old Tawnie textures, these are brand new textures and files!)
I included a MAT pose that will make the skin have a glittery effect and a MAT pose to give the skin a beautiful glow without the glittery effect. And while Tawnie is optimized for P5, I however I made sure the textures would work in P4 or Propack, the MAT poses for P4 simply don't take advantage of bump maps or the other goodies Poser 5 has to offer.
The make-up optios were made with photos of real make-up, not painted on or simply hue adjustments, to give an ultimate realisitc look to the textures.
I also used an eyebrow transmap to make it easier to adjust eyebrow colors to hair options.
And I included an eye texture that has that glassy look for P4 users ;-)
All my store renders were done with DAZ 3d's True Global lighting.

Just brightened them up a bit in P5, and changed all the shawdows to Raytrace shawdows for P5.
Some helpful tips for rendering with these textures in Poser 5, be sure to use production mode for your final render, have "Smooth Polygons" checked, "texture filtering" UNCHECKED and "use Displacement Maps" checked, and "ray tracing checked".
Finally to completely take advantage of the displacement maps, be sure you to set your "Minimum Displacement bounds"
to 1.OO in your render options window. You can adjust this if you need to depending on how much detail you want to see in your final render.
Also something else to try is actually disableing Displacement, this give the skin a real pretty softness to it.
