Subject: Off topic: Why no Maya forum?

Just a silly question, why do you have no Maya forum on renderosity? Carrara rules, still use it all the time. Lobo

Good point, I guess I'm spoiled getting to use it at work. Its quite the huge program.

Enjoy you lucky dog!(got a burner,no I didn't say that).Yea , you can buy a new family sedan for the price of Maya here in Oz then they scream they can't get trained people.I'd have to travell 60 miles to the nearest collage that teaches a course which includes it.

Its a massive program compared to other 3D appliactions I have used. I think you'd need Max3,Lightwave with most of the plugins available for them, Photoshop, illustrator and AfterFx to get close to that one program. Its has everything, literally. If you have Maya Unlimted 3 you have all the above progams and more in one package. I feel like I wasted my time learning Max and raydream now that I'm on Maya3.

whoa!I'm having enough trouble coming to terms with Max!My humble Celeron system can barly cope,and Lihgtwave locks up and crashes.I'll stick with wot I got for now,nice chatting Ron.
