Subject: Idea of Mine

i had this wonderful idea that came to mind the other night. why not have an unoffical compentition of the bryce fourm people (the people who post and answer questions), which will be juged by anyone who posts on the Bryce fourm.
no prizes unless donated not like the monthly challange but a spur of the moment contest. say a week's time to create and post. unlimited ideas, entries, and comments. the winner is the one who has the most comments, and highest ranking

Do you mean more competitions other than the monthly challenge?

Any 'other' contests in this forum would need to be approved by AS, if it is just a competition between two members that is not required.....

Zhann: I seem to remember something about that......LOL

Scoleman: I think we do this already, mate! But keep 'em coming, we're not too hot on the imagination front over here! ;-)

To be fair, Scoleman DID say NOT like the monthly challenge, but more of a surprise kinda thang......

Something like this happened awhile ago in the poser forum. A merchant decided to have a challenge, then another and another... after a few months of un-offical challenges being held in the forum and gallery, an admin 'found out' and all sorts of trouble broke out. I do like the idea and thought it quite cool when it first came about, however there are proper channels to go thru.

I think the Crystal Palace was really more of a "showdown" or "dare" than a "challenge". Bryster and Draculaz went mano a mano, then Brycetech joined in. :^)

:-) (still chuckling) Mind you, I quite like the idea of "unofficial" challenges myself (especially since I have a distinct dislike of anything "official"; maybe it's a character flaw). Plus unofficial challenges might just possibly get me into a Bronze Medal position, unofficially (ego roolz, ego drools)
Cheers,
Diolma
