I've got a great dog - only problem is, she's terrified of cameras. You'd think it was the flash - but she's scared of them outside without a flash! Anyone had this "problem", and if so - is there anything I can do about it.

Had to sneak this one in - as soon as I took it, she was gone!

I have the same problem, Chocolate or biscuits can help sometimes. My dog is a complete coward with cameras.

Don't have that problem. My problem is they want to jump on me and play. Can't get any distance to shoot.

Use a laser light to get their attention, then sneak the shot you want.

Chocolat is a BAD idea. Poisonous for dogs. Try steak, preferably porterhouse.

I've heard that.. but my grandma's poodles lived to the ripe old age of 17 and 18 on a chocolat diet :)

As to the problem: a telephoto lens?

My 3 dogs are always there for the camera - especially my old yellow lab - last Christmas he put up with a string of lights being strung around his body for over an hour - He was determined to get his picture on our Christmas card last year, as the puppy had the honors the year before :) As to dogs and chocolate [see above link] - Dogs love chocolate [heck, my dogs love to eat poop] but chocolate is sOOOoo bad bad bad for them [as are onions and grapes]. But biscuits and doggie treats are an excellent way to make your pooch want to get his photo taken :) Get out the treats each time you get out your camera, and I bet within a week your dog will be bringing your camera to you :) Dee-Marie

Well that probably depends on the chocolate, I use choc drops that are specially formulated for dogs.

Looks like choc but does not taste like it to me! Yuck
Oh yes and Bonio bickys she likes them too.
