Mapps has one at his site, but it is dynamic cloth. Looks like it might fit the bill if you have P5.Stahlratte, If you DO have P5, then creating your own poncho is easy (all in Poser). Load the Hi-res (cloth) square. Use the grouping tool to create a separate square group (called, eg, "Poncho") slap-bang in the middle of the square (big enough to go fit comfortably round the neck). Hit "Invert" in the grouping tool, then hit Spawn Props. You'll get a copy of the cloth-sq, without the middle squares, as a new prop named "Poncho". You can now delete the original Hi-res square (ie Clothpane_1). Then just clothify as usual... If you DON'T have P5, then I can't help ('cos I'm USELESS at adding bones & jointifying etc. and something like a poncho would be really difficult, given that it doesn't stick closely to the character's shape....) Cheers, Diolma
Like diolma said it is easy to make as a dynamic. The only advantage to downloading mine would be that it is mapped, the materials have been set, it is pre-smart proped to the major Mil Characters and there is a morphing version with about 5 poses that can be used in Poser 4. It's also about 3 times the vert count of the high res square. The vert count is very important for cloth, it only bends on the vertex lines. So a higher count means more realistic folds and such. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying mine is better, just that it is already done for you and could save some time. If you haven't done anything of the sort before it also serves as an example of how to do it :-)

LOL, I didn't know about mapps poncho. I needed one for my Bandit's Daugher pic in the Gallery so I made a dynamic cloth poncho. I am reworking that one into a fullblown conforming figure with lots of morphs for greater posing potential. Not got it done yet, or I'd offer to trade you the poncho for your killer Clint morph. Heck, I still might - so go ahead punk, make my day. LOL
Heya mapps - Yes, it is an excellent likeness. BTW, I just downloaded your poncho and will give it a try. I agree that dynamic cloth has many advantages, but I find that some poses are faster and easier with conforming clothing and morphs. In particular, I want to be able to fold the front up and over and across the shoulder, etc. I found this hard to do well in the Cloth Room. If mine turns out working like I want, I will send it to you. :O)
Conforms are waaaaaaaaay faster to use...they just take a lot longer to make ;-) Hey sounds great Thanks :-) PS if you take a primitive and start it out below the cloth you can raise it over several frames to lift the cloth and flip it over as it goes over the top. Use the sphere, things with sharp edges can cause problems. I pass it through the characterand stop it at about a hight of 12 to 16 feet depending on the length of the drape.
Thanks for the tip. I am still learning the ins and outs and all the neat little tricks for the cloth room. Also, I still have probs with it working fine and than not working. Really weird. Generally when that happens if I reboot and load the pz3 fresh it will work, otherwise it goes 3-5 frames and stops like it is done. Hopefully P6 will have less bugs and a better user manual. :O) Stalhratte, sorry did not mean to hijack your thread. That is a great Clint likeness. If mapps poncho works for you great, when I get mine done if you would like it just ask. Not sure what figure you used. At the moment, the poncho I made is for V3 but that can easily be adapted to another figure. :O)
Did you install the latest patch? I did and had similar problems so I uninstalled poser and reinstalled it and ran all the patches except the last one. Seems to be fine now. :-) No hijacking here...this is all poncho talk...lol The figure looks kinda like Mike 1 or 2 but in some ways reminds me of the P4 man. Me I'm still using the 2 characters I have a massive amount of stuff for V2 and a couple of freebies I've donloaded for V3 if she would use the V2 stuff I'd be more inclined to get her. Like going form V1 to V2 no changes everything worked as was.
Yeah, have the last patch. Could not use the cloth room before it so I don't think that will help. It is not too bad. It only happens after I have ran a few simulations. On the earlier patch I could not do that so I am happy. As for V2, I was the same way for the longest, and in many ways V2 is still my fav. But V3 is starting to grow on me.
