Subject: Noob questions o.k?

If this isn't the best place to ask noob questions, can somebody recommend a good starter tuorial? Or a forum to go to? For example... I'm trying to follow the (printed) book, but things don't seem to work. For example I'm trying to add the conforming hair prop to the figure (p. 190), and instead of adding hair to her head it replaces the figure with the hair. Thank you.

Don't double click. And don't click the single check mark. Instead click just once on the double checkmark.

First- don't click on the single check mark to add it- use the double check mark- that lets you add 2 or more figures to a scene. Second- join a community like here- or at rendervisions.com Third- use the search function on these forums, your in the right place :) This forum is like a huge glorified lookup tabel with lots of advise. Forth- and last- play with poser- that is the alltime best way to learn what it does and how to make it do it- lol Never underestimate play :) Load stuff in from the various free stuffs area around the net. The ideas and images will start flowing :) geo

Thank you. I'm in that awkward stage where it's all so new that even the easy things are difficult.

I never learned anything just playing with Poser. But I did get a lot of questions answered here.

Click on the banner at the top of this forum, which takes you into the Poser Back Room. Good resources, including a lot of "quick tips". And of course, you can click on "Tutorials" and follow the links to the Poser ones. And then go click Free Stuff and be prepared to download like a madman... ;)
