Someone at my Star Wars club started a message chain on the board on the subject "If you could paint your TIE Fighter, how would you want it to look?" Well, I 'fly' an Assault Gunboat, and I thought I'd take the discussion as another practice opportunity for graphics textures. After a lot of tweaking and translating, I amanged to get the binary 3DS file into Painter 3D, but had nothing but aggravating results there. So I just went directly into Bryce and used some PICT files I made in (regular) Painter 5 to customize my gunboat. It still didn't turn out quite how I imagined it, but it looks good to me anyway. (The Gunboat model is from the SWMA, by the way)

This looks and sounds interesting. I think you are on the right track - in the sense that know one else has come up with this. This looks good and has potential. Keep up the the good work. Sking.
